LEGISLATIVE FINANCE COMMITTEE and the Future of our Educational System

Want to know what your children’s future educational system will end up like in this state? Want to know if you will have a job after October? Want to protect the future of this state’s workforce? These are the individuals to call, email and write in the next few very short weeks because they are holding closed door government meetings about future budget cuts to our state’s educational system. The voting public should be demanding answers and demanding public hearing on this issue. What happened to open government? Why are some legislators being left out in the cold on such a major issue? Demand answers now!

Here are the questions I asked:

Why is Senator Jennings sending letters out before your committee work is done on the LFC?

Why is this being kept from the voting public and how bad is the harm going to be to our educational system?

Why are we paying six figure salaries to educational administrators when it appears the state cannot pay its low paid front line educational staff?

How is this open government when not all legislators are included in such an important issue?

Why are we not holding public hearings on this issue?
