National night out celebrates this concept and sends a message that we care about the health and well being of our neighborhood.”

Senator Keller said of his schedule: “I’ll be at Trumbull at 6:30 at Ceasar Chavez, then South San Pedro at 7:00, and at La Mesa at 7:30.”
Infromation on these events:
“Trumbull Village Neighborhood Association will have an event themed “The Family” with information tables for services and donations. The donations being sought are gently used or new shoes from ages 3 to 18. School supplies and or (Backpacks). We would appreciate any donations. They also have a food bank and provide hundreds of toys for boys and girls for Christmas. If you can attend and/or donate , you can call Joanne Landry at 604-6761. You could also bring any of these donated items to the event.
Parkland Hills Neighborhood Association will have an event at the Whittier Community Center from 6-8PM. Pot Luck with local police and fire department.
South San Pedro Neighborhood Association will have two events. One will be a park event at Wilson Park on San Pedro next to Wilson Middle School. Another will be a small block party on Madeira SE. Both events will be from 6-8PM. SSPNA extends an invitation to everyone and especially the Elder Homestead neighbors to come participate.
La Mesa Community Improvement Association Night Out will be a community pot luck & old fashioned root beer float event @ Mesa Verde Community Center, 6:30pm.”
